The Humanitarian Observatory of the Cruz Roja Argentina is a space for action research.
Through the production of empirical evidence, we seek to foster understanding, awareness, and the ability to address the various situations that emerge in society from a humanitarian perspective.
Since 2022, the Humanitarian Observatory has been part of the Cruz Roja and the Media Luna Roja Research Consortium (RC3).
As a Reference and Research Center, this network of research, scientific, and academic entities and initiatives is based on the idea that science can improve the quality of humanitarian services.
Our service
The Cruz Roja Argentina Humanitarian Observatory stands out for its solid capacity in data analysis, monitoring, and evaluation, which allows it to develop specialized research on various topics and populations. This comprehensive approach ensures the generation of reliable and useful evidence for decision-making.
Our services are tailored to the needs of public institutions, national, provincial, and municipal governments, social organizations, international agencies, and private sector actors.
To this end, we implement all phases of the research process: problem and objective definition, background review, methodological planning, questionnaire design, in-depth interviews, focus groups, instrument piloting, sample design, ethical considerations, data collection, information processing and analysis, results systematization, final report development, communication of findings, and formulation of recommendations for advocacy.
Each stage is carried out under the highest quality standards, ensuring federal representativeness and scientific rigor, which positions us as a benchmark in the production of knowledge applied to humanitarian action.
Our research seeks
Identify humanitarian needs and situations of vulnerability.
Design social impact projects and public policies.
Support decisions with reliable data and evidence.
Raise awareness and educate to help improve people's lives.
